Manuka honey is a rich source of amino acids, B vitamins, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorous, potassium, sodium, and zinc (just to name a few).
CAN YOU COOK WITH MANUKA HONEY?
Just like ordinary honey, Manuka honey makes a great additive to recipes and food as a delicious sweetener. When cooking at higher temperatures, it's best to use Manuka honey with a lower MGO (Methylglyoxal) level, like MGO 150+, as high heat can impact the MGO content. Try it in a range of fruit based deserts or drizzled on your favourite cereal or yoghurt.
