Biosota Manuka honey is 100% Australian-made, sustainable, certified organic & non-GMO certified.
We are not Manuka Honey experts, however when buying such an expensive honey with a 1717+ MGO we expect the honey not to have crystallized. Our first order was perfect (8.8 oz.) we then reordered another 8.8 oz. and a 17.5 oz. and they were both received crystallized which is really unacceptable at these prices. Our guess is the honey when being processed at packaging and they are packaging the honey either the last part or first part of the batch ( depending on how it is delivered to the container ) has weighted itself as the crystallized honey is clumped and the uncrystallized honey floats to the top as can be seen when first opening the delivered jar. The honey may have the same properties but the texture is not pleasant compared to the non crystallized honey. When spending this kind of money this honey should be perfect and the company should be selling the crystallized portion at a lower premium. It is hard to believe this happens in the jar unless their storage facility is not maintained properly. It is also hard to believe they can not find a way to separate out the crystallized portion when packaging especially considering the cost. We love the honey and hope they can improve their processing for those of use buying their products.
United StatesI had purchased Manuka special edition from different company 28+ then I found this Manuka with higher ratings with this company. This honey is much intense in taste than the 28+ ratings. I use it as a medicine and it works.
United StatesVery please with Biosota Manila Honey MGO 1717. The honey tasted very silky and smooth. I used this honey to treat my gastrointestinal Metaplasia along with Mastic Gum and medication. My stomach is feeling so much better and I can eat without feeling stomach bloating and pain. I like Biosota Manuka honey over other brands for it is organic and certified Manuka Honey. I can ensure this is the quality that I can trust to meet my need!
Australia1717 has a wonderful gelatinous texture, dark golden amber colour with rich burnt caramel notes. I use this honey as a twice daily dose as I suffer with autoimmune conditions. It is expensive honey but the health benefits outweigh the price concern. Biosota packaging is second to none and you feel as though you’re getting something special when it arrives.
