Biosota's MGO 1717+ is one of the highest-grade medicinal Manuka honey available on the market. Every batch is passionately tested in three independent, accredited laboratories which conclude that this premium product has NPA 31+ (non-peroxide activity, equivalent to ULF 31+) and a level of MGO 1717+ mg/kg. 

Biosota Manuka honey is extracted at a temperature which mirrors that of the beehive. We do not heat or pasteurise our honey, ensuring exceptional results. With its warm amber colour and aromatic flavour, our highest potency Manuka honey is a true superfood and a treat for the senses high in minerals, antioxidants, and bioflavonoids.

Achieving a high level of MGO in Manuka honey depends on three factors:  the species of Leptospermum flower species and plant maturity; optimal climate and growing conditions; and the production methods and storage process. Manuka Honey matures for 12 months following harvest and with optimal bioactivity levels obtained at temperatures below 22⁰C (72⁰F).

STORAGE: To preserve MGO bioactivity, store at room temperature below 20°C (68°F) and avoid heat exposure. Refrigeration is optional. Crystallisation is natural and doesn’t impact quality or efficacy. To decrystallise, place the sealed jar in warm water. Short-term exposure to higher temperatures, such as during shipping, does not affect the honey.

EXPIRY: Biosota Manuka honey has a 5-year "Expiry Date" to ensure the MGO rating is accurate. When stored correctly, the honey remains safe to consume beyond this date and does not expire.

DIRECTIONS: Dosage and individual results may vary. Please consult your healthcare provider before beginning any treatment and if symptoms persist.

ORAL USE DIRECTIONS:
Medicinal Strength Use: ingest one to two teaspoons up to twice daily, gradually reducing to one teaspoon per day as symptoms improve.
